In the Bowels of History

There is one place in Egypt that I don't really want to visit again ... actually a few of them. That is deep inside the tunnels of the Great Pyramids of Giza. I've done it, in all three, at various times so I can say that I actually did it but ... it is a difficult journey for a large man over 6 foot tall.

BUT YOU have to do it at least once in your life. Along with a possible sense of claustrophobia you will definitely get a sense of history, a sense of walking where the ancient Egyptians walked and worked. Unlike the tunnels to the tombs in the Valley of the Kings, the tunnels into the Pyramids are not painted or adorned in any way, they just take you into the bowels of history where you will end up at the burial chamber of a 5000+ year old king!

You have to do it!

One who went on the tour with me, a good friend Harlan Vande Griend seeming to enjoy the journey into the bowels of the Pyramid
